WhatsApp Messaging Credits Terms
Last updated: 25 June 2026
These WhatsApp Messaging Credits Terms (“Credits Terms”) govern prepaid messaging credits purchased through Captverse for Business Solution Provider (BSP) managed WhatsApp channels. They supplement the Terms of Use. Credits are closed-loop prepaid service credits — not cash, not a payment wallet, and not exchangeable at third-party merchants. Have counsel review before customer rollout.
1. What messaging credits are
“Messaging credits” are prepaid units of value denominated in Indian Rupees (INR) that your organisation may use solely to pay for WhatsApp messaging charges billed by Aarohii AI Solution Private Limited when your workspace uses BSP Managed billing. One credit rupee equals one INR of eligible messaging usage at the rates shown in your workspace billing settings.
Credits are issued to your workspace (tenant), not to individual end users on WhatsApp. They are not stored-value instruments usable outside Captverse.
2. Closed prepaid system
- Credits may be used only for Captverse WhatsApp messaging services on BSP Managed channels.
- Credits are not transferable to another workspace or person.
- Credits are not withdrawable as cash and cannot be redeemed at external merchants.
- Where applicable law permits payment reversal (e.g. Razorpay refund of a purchase), we may debit credits or refuse future usage rather than paying cash.
3. Purchasing credits
Workspace administrators may purchase credits via our payment partner (Razorpay). Purchased amounts may be subject to a short anti-fraud hold (typically twenty-four hours) before becoming available for messaging. Gateway fees, if any, are disclosed at checkout.
By purchasing credits you confirm you have authority to bind your organisation and that you accept these Credits Terms for the stated version shown at checkout.
4. Validity and expiry
Unless stated otherwise at purchase, unused messaging credits expire twelve (12) months from the date of issuance. Expired credits are void and will not be refunded or reinstated. We may show expiry dates in your credit ledger as this feature is rolled out.
5. Usage and deductions
When you send WhatsApp messages under BSP Managed billing, we reserve and then debit credits according to applicable rate cards (marketing, utility, authentication, service, etc.). Failed sends may release reservations; certain delivery failures may be credited back per our billing adjustment policy.
6. Refunds and adjustments
Payment refunds processed through Razorpay for a credit purchase will reverse the corresponding credits on your workspace ledger. Service credits issued for failed deliveries or billing corrections are not cash refunds — they remain usable only for future messaging.
7. Suspension
We may suspend credit usage if your workspace breaches the Terms of Use, exceeds platform limits, or poses fraud or compliance risk. Suspension does not automatically extend credit validity.
8. Changes
We may update these Credits Terms by publishing a new version and effective date. Material changes may require renewed acceptance before further credit purchases. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
